Pizza From Scratch

Updated: Apr 23

Making pizza from scratch is one of my favorite foods to make because it fun, cheap, and easy to make. Here are the recipes I follow for making pizza:

Pizza dough recipe from The New York Times:

  • 306 grams all-purpose flour (1 cup plus 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons)

  • 8 grams fine sea salt (1 teaspoon)

  • 2 grams active dry yeast (3/4 teaspoon)

  • 4 grams extra-virgin olive oil (1 teaspoon)

Pizza sauce recipe from Binging with Babish:

  • 1 28-ounce can of peeled San Marzano tomatoes

  • 2-3 cloves garlic

  • Dried oregano to taste

  • Dried basil to taste

  • Red pepper flakes to taste

  • Kosher salt to taste

  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

  • Olive oil (optional)
